Sales Representative - Thermo King of Tulsa

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Sales Representative to join our Thermo King team in Tulsa, OK. We are looking for a motivated, self-starter to handle new unit sales within the eastern Oklahoma and Ft Smith Arkansas territory. This position will work with local and national businesses as well as OEM vehicle dealerships to determine which units best fit their operation and why Thermo King is the leader in transport refrigeration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Gather, ask, quote, sell and close business opportunities in assigned areas with support from management and the manufacturer.
  • Cultivate new business by leveraging Thermo King’s core value of best-in-class product offerings.
  • Follow up of generated leads and inquiries with new accounts.
  • Market and sell the full line of Thermo King products which consist of truck and trailer refrigeration units (TRU’s), vehicle powered units (VP’s), self-powered truck units (SP’s), auxiliary power units (APU’s), and Thermo King Connected Solution products as well as Thermo King aftermarket parts.
  • Regularly follow up on inbound inquiries and sales leads.
  • Prospect and cold call on businesses and organizations.
  • Maintain positive business relationships to ensure future sales.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer issues and problems to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve agreed upon targets and goals monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years on-road sales experience
  • A degree in Business and/or Marketing is helpful, but not required
  • Excellent communication, selling, and negotiation skills
  • Prioritization, time management, and organizational skills
  • Experience selling in a quota environment is a plus
  • Software experience with the Microsoft Outlook and Excel, as well as CRM platforms such as Salesforce is a plus.
  • Knowledge of refrigeration and/or the heavy-duty trucking industry is helpful, but willing to train the right individual.
