Patrol Officer

OVERVIEW

The primary responsibility of the Patrol Officer is to greet residents and guests to ensure the people entering the community are authorized to be there. The officer will take direction from the Site Supervisor and CSSI management team. This person will have a strong background in customer service and enjoy building relationships with people in the community.

The Patrol Officer is responsible for working their assigned shifts along with the occasional opportunity for overtime (as expressed by the site supervisor).

Qualifications:

• Must be able to pass a SLED background check or company background check;
• Must be able to pass a drug test upon hire (and random drug tests during the course of employment;
• Must be able to effectively communicate with residents, guests, vendors, employees and anyone who comes through the gate;
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule which includes weekends and holidays;
• Must have a strong work ethic and be able to work both independently and with a team;
• Must feel comfortable to make decisions and follows standard procedures that are outlined in site orders for the community;
• Must have strong attention to detail;
• Able to enforce ordinances, covenants, and laws as applicable
• Able to write detailed reports and utilize technology for reporting purposes with company provided phones and software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior Military or law enforcement background
• Security experience at one company longer than 2 years
• Active SLED card or other security certification.
