Sr. Director of Digital and Traditional Media

Summary of Position:

Responsible for overseeing plan execution (strategic planning & plan implementation) that translates clients’ digital marketing and advertising objectives into overarching online media campaigns and works within a cohesive cross-platform media recommendation. Develop unique interactive plans, inclusive of custom programs, which are consistent with approved strategies and budget.

Essential Functions:

  • Oversee completion of daily assignments, including but not limited to reporting, tagging/trafficking, optimizing, negotiating, gathering screenshots, vendor communication & meetings, custom creative review, sending RFPs, planning (including slide/deck development), billing (client & vendor), internal/external status updates, etc.
  • Utilize planning and execution tools such as Adobe Workfront, Adobe Target, Adobe Audience

Manager, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Manager, Market, Salesforce/Account BasedMarketing channels through conversion metrics and, other resources to create high level media plan strategy and asset insertion/distribution workflows

  • Express understanding of client objectives through sound strategic recommendations and associated rationale
  • Create decks for media recommendations which thoroughly and clearly explain/showcase recommendations
  • Communicate with and inspire clients via phone, email or in-person interaction
  • Review/QA
  • Write client facing POVs to evaluate media opportunities
  • Responsible for keeping up-to-date billing charts and working with billing department to ensure all bills are paid
  • Follow, analyze, and optimize against digital trends and the latest technological advancements in media landscape
  • Contribute to strategy and brainstorming sessions for new clients and pitches
  • Experience within all media options and channels and evaluates, plans, and executes this media that are ideally suited for their clients’ target and business needs.

  • Expertise in Media Planning and Reporting Tools such as: o SQAD/SPARC utilization for estimating pricing within national and local broadcast channels and dayparts. o Telmar for estimating software to assist in determining optimal reach and frequency and impressions of media plans. o Standard Rate & Data Service for estimating print, and direct mail list costs.

Discipline Specific Skills

  • Must have 5-10 years of relevant media planning and buying experience
  • Experience working in an integrated capacity with Planning, Account and Creative teams
  • Strong working competency in the following channels:
  • Social
  • Digital Display/Video, including YouTube
  • Experience with programmatic buying
  • Exposure to traditional media platforms (TV, Print, Out-of-Home, and Radio)
  • Very knowledgeable understanding of tools and resources such as Adobe Workfront, Adobe

Target, Adobe Audience Manager and Adobe Analytics, etc.

  • Familiar with various forms of digital pricing models (CPM, CPC, CPV, CPA, CPCV, etc.) and when to leverage each
  • Ability to use third party ad servers to traffic media campaigns and pull reports
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • Google AdWords certification a plus
  • Exceptional written, verbal and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees & clients
  • Strong time management skills
  • Attention to detail and advanced follow-through skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
