Job Description :

The Senior HR Generalist will be reposnible for overall support of our associates through HR related items such as staffing, maintenance of the HRIS systems, associate relations, benefit plans and learning and development.

Staffing

  • Identifies sources of qualified candidates for current and future positions using all available sources (job board postings, web site, advertising, external recruiters, associate referrals, cold calls, prior applicant data bases, etc.)
  • Ensures all websites are accurate with open positions
  • Coordinates all candidates’ interviews (including travel and other arrangements) with hiring managers and other interviewers.
  • Develops with hiring manager equitable candidate offers
  • Creates as need job descriptions and job postings or update current job descriptions
  • Coordinates all required Associate Agreements, reference checks, background investigations, drug testing, and new hire processing for new hires consistent with company policy
  • Assists Director Human Resources on college recruiting efforts
  • Responsible to maintain the Applicant Tracking System

Associate Relations

  • Assists with actions to retain high performing Associates
  • Coordinates annual service award events
  • Supports Director HR and leadership team in managing and taking appropriate actions on Associate relations issues consistent with Weis Builders policy and applicable laws and regulations
  • Conducts exit surveys/interviews and identifies appropriate actions
  • Ensures AAP/EEO administration and communications are current
  • Coordinates with Director HR group and/or associate events
  • Support Director HR on safety/Workers comp items

Associate Benefits

  • Participates in ongoing benefits administration of company benefits
  • Ensures FMLA administration and other mandated requirements are met
  • Provide analysis on benefits options as needed
  • Responsible for the annual open enrollment

Learning and Development:

  • Supports management team in meeting and tracking individual associate learning needs.
  • Administers onboarding learning and development
  • Supports administration of onboarding activities, learning plan management, and mentor program for new hires.
  • Work on training needs and develops/conducts/facilities courses as required to address associate needs.
  • Ensure all required trainings based on federal or applicable state law are completed.

· A bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.

--Knowledge and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in an HR related field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $71,356.00 per year
