Senior Product Electrical Engineer

Under the direction of the Manager, the Senior Product Engineer maintains full engineering cognizance of programs from mid-development through production. The incumbent will also be the focal point for transfer of programs from development to production. Duties include definition and documentation of Assembly & Test methodology and equipment, product redesign, spec reviews, proposal preparation, customer interface, analysis and solutions of start-up problems. The Senior Product Engineer is responsible for the coordination of the efforts of many departments in support of the assigned programs.

Basic Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related degree required. At least 5 years of experience in comparable position and technology.
• Possess a clear understanding of the principles governing the design, manufacture, assembly and test of electrical assemblies and systems.
• The ability to coordinate and complete multiple tasks concurrently.
• Possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills along with strong analytical problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in technical areas such as control systems, circuit analysis, materials, and electronics.
• Experience with Test software analysis (C++, MATLAB, etc.)
• EM Drives, Motor, and Actuator Applications and Sizing experience
• Experience with hands on Verification & Validation, Dyno-testing, actuator testing, Customer FARs

This position requires access to United States Export Controlled information.
