SIGN ON BONUS UP TO $1000 FOR FULL TIME EMPLOYEES! SHIFTS END NO LATER THAN 9PM!

Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the lead server and the Dining Room Supervisor, the Server is to courteously and professionally serve all residents and their guest’s meals in the dining rooms. The server maintains a neat and orderly work area and informs their Supervisor of food needs and resident questions and concerns that they are unable to answer. Sets up, serves and breaks down special functions.


Accountabilities:

  • Is courteous, knowledgeable of the menu, and professional at all times when serving a customer
  • Sets tables and maintains work stations in proper order
  • Takes food and beverage orders and provides service to residents and guests in all dining venues
  • Assists in maintain a high level of customer service for residents and guests
  • Clears dishes from tables during and after meal service.
  • Maintains safe and sanitary conditions in compliance with OSHA safety standards
  • Cooperates and coordinates work activities with co-workers to ensure a smooth run department
  • Follows outlined Policies and Procedures for Dining Services Department

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent, but not necessary.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older to serve alchohol.
  • Must be able to read, write and follow written and verbal directions.
  • Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents and families and work cooperatively with other associates.
  • Must be able to lift 20 lbs to shoulder height.
  • Must be able to push 200 lbs on a cart with casters.
