The Electrical Engineer, TCO will be responsible for the design, design verification, and design documentation for our Front Line Care business unit.

What you'll be doing

• Design prototype digital systems, including microprocessors, FPGAs, and other supporting digital circuits.

• Design of analog circuits, including audio, instrumentation, and optical circuits.

• Design and programming of electrical test equipment

• Mathematical analysis of circuit designs.

• Schematic capture input, including component selection.

• Layout implementation, including routing PCBs.

• Generation of PCBA build files, including BOMs, gerbers, assembly and fab drawings, etc.

• Bench level testing and verification.

• Working with Senior Engineers to qualify alternate component to reduce overall cost of our designs.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering.

• 1+ years of experience preferred.

Preferred experience, not required:

• Experience designing digital, analog, and mixed-signal circuits preferred.

• Board-level debug and diagnosis using oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMMs, and other bench test equipment.

• Experience in Board level design verification.

• Experience in digital and analog circuit modeling.

• Design for manufacturing/manufacturability experience.

• Experience in design documentation, including design requirements, design analysis, and design descriptions.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $60,000 to $156,000, plus an annual incentive bonus. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
