We are currently seeking a talented Senior Engineer in Quality Management who wants to join a dynamic and experienced team and take their technical knowledge to the next level in our mission of excellence.
In your new role you will:
- Be responsible for qualified and reliable USB type C products ensured by qualification and monitoring including Quality Management (QM) tasks as per product and process development, incl. enforced awareness building for quality and risk management.
- Qualification planning (time/cost/resources) based on customer requirements/product and technology innovation
- Define and monitor quality criteria and the adherence to quality assurance risk management procedures within the function
- Product Qualification and release of USB type C automotive and industrial products according to internal requirements (time and costs agreed on qualification plan) for product development projects, external release by customer
- Synchronize qualification strategies and needs within the several USB type C sub-projects
- Support on information and documentation of product quality and qualification-related topics for USB type C products (quality-related queries, qualification packages) for customers through Sales, Marketing
- Customer support on Problem-Solving incl. crisis management
- Continuous learning and improvement for USB type C products through active participation in quality problem solving on current production and overall improvement programs
- Deviation and risk management for products in the qualification and ramp-up phase
- Technical Leadership: Alignment of QM methodology and quality targets, risk assessments, and decision competence on risk release between the several sub-projects (partly)
- Cooperation liaisons with reliability lab partners (QM’s, IFX QMS to assure standard quality and qualification approaches)
- Quality progress and KPI reporting to PL, BL QM, project management, and customer
- Ensure that products meet required quality and reliability, according to internal procedures, international standards ( ISO9001 ), and customer requirements
- Interact with international development project teams and internal stakeholders in the overall organization to optimize product quality and performance
- Contribute to focus teams, task forces, and problem-solving teams in applying quality management tools
- Support on product quality-related information and documentation for internal and external customers
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Quality, or other related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years' work experience in semiconductor manufacturing or related field
- Experience with successful leadership for quality and manufacturing systems, business process improvement and problem-solving
- Good technical communication skills
- Experience in qualification and AEC-Q requirements is a must
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in the field of quality management, ideally within the semiconductor industry
- Experience in quality management, development, and production processes in the semiconductor industry
- Insights into quality systems, methods, procedures, and tools (e.g. Risk management, FMEA, 8D, 5why, etc.) and quality standards (JESD47)
- Experience in customer handling and communication regarding quality matters
- Fluent English language skills
