The IT Supervisor of Operations supports NCCS’ IT goals by overseeing, training, and evaluating the Network Administration team and IT operational processes.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Directly supervises a team of 2-4 Network Administrators/IT Staff

Duties/Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:

• Forecasting / planning for all current and upcoming IT projects / buildouts
• Coordinating all ADK Techs visits and scope of work
• Creating Rhombus support tickets / getting quotes
• Overseeing Helpdesk requests
• Providing IT support to the Plattsburgh facility
• Receiving quotes and placing orders with Cisco vendor(s)
• Managing the inventory of the IT Department
• Installing, maintaining, repairing security camera system
• Assisting with security I.T. needs / requests
• Assisting with non-mechanical front gate issues
• Participating in on-call rotation
• Collaborating with HR in the hiring process of IT candidates
• Creating training materials
• Evaluating and training direct reports
• Documenting and addressing disciplinary issues with direct reports in accordance with NCCS policies
• Escalating issues to appropriate members of management as required
• Ensuring that all assigned tasks are completed by direct reports
• Adhering to all company policies and procedures
• Other reasonable tasks as requested

Required Skills/Abilities:

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; required
• Cisco certification preferred
• 2+ years experience in Network Administration or similar role
• Demonstrated experience with Cisco products, network installation, configuration, and repair

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, sitting, and/or kneeling
• Prolonged screen exposure
• Lifting up to 50lbs.
• Climbing ladders up to 4ft high
• Working in the elements

• $52,000/year
• Performance-Based Bonus
