Job Description :

We are seeking a full time employee as a Systems Engineer, who will work as apart of our MSP Engineering Team.

In your role, you will be responsible for assisting us in the administration, support, and maintenance of our clients systems at a high level. These duties include:

1. Research, Design, and Implementation of Technology Solutions: The engineer is responsible for the design and implementation of Microsoft based cloud solutions. This includes the deployment of virtual machines, network security configurations, storage solutions, disaster recovery strategies and other workplace technology solutions.

2. Project Management & Execution: The engineer is responsible for the planning and execution of project labor related to the implementation of technology systems and solutions for InnerCircle customers.

3. Office 365 Management: The engineer is responsible for managing and maintaining client Office 365 environments, ensuring the smooth operation of Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.

4. Intune Management: The engineer is responsible for the administration of Intune, including mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM) policies.

5. Network Infrastructure Management: The engineer is responsible for maintaining the local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and access points.

6. Security: The engineer is responsible for ensuring the security of the network and cloud solutions, including the implementation of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and data encryption.

7. Monitoring and Maintenance: The engineer is responsible for the ongoing monitoring of the network and cloud systems, identifying potential issues and resolving them in a timely manner. They also perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and stability.

8. Customer Support: The engineer is responsible for providing technical support to customers, assisting with the resolution of technical issues, and responding to customer inquiries, including both on-site and remotely.

9. Documentation: The engineer is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of the network and cloud infrastructure they work with, including diagrams, configuration settings, and procedures.

10. Collaboration: The engineer is expected to collaborate with other colleagues and employees in the course of executing their above identified job responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, thorough, have strong collaboration, communication and documentation skills. You should have experience and be comfortable working both independently as well as part of a technical team.

Requirements:

  • Incredible sense of pride and passion for what you do and a desire to help your teammates
  • 5+ Years in the IT Field, MSP experience preferred
  • BA or relevant certifications and working experience
  • Experience working as part of a team
  • Experience using an issue or ticket tracking system and RMM tools
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Ability to learn new technologies and systems quickly
  • Ability to work through issues methodically
  • Ability & willingness to properly document processes and code
  • Ability to work independently
  • Great project management skills
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy principles, previous exposure to security frameworks is preferred
  • Experience working with the Datto family of products (Autotask PSA, RMM & Backup)
  • Experience managing Windows desktop and server operating systems environments
  • Experience and knowledge required to manage an Azure tenant
  • Experience and knowledge required to manage a Hyper-V environment
  • Experience with management of networking (Cisco Meraki is preferred)
  • Proficiency with PowerShell, Python, Bash, or JavaScript

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
