Double D Express is an employee-owned company looking for a highly-motivated Account Executive to join our sales team!

As an Account Executive your focus will be on business development so you will be responsible for identifying and securing profitable revenue within your assigned area. Extensive knowledge of Less Than Truckload (LTL) freight and the trucking industry is required.

This position will be to cover the Elgin, IL area and Western Suburbs.

• Maintaining positive client relationships
• Achieving strategic sales objective goals
• Communicates weekly sales recaps on achievements, losses, and competitive information
• Staying proactive in problem solving should issues arise

• Excellent customer service skills
• Efficient time management skills
• Majority of the work includes travel time and meeting with customers, but working from home is also a must.
• Little or no overnight travel is required.
• Double D Express will provide a company car, cell phone and iPad.
