POSITON DESCRIPTION: Part of a staff of 4 to provide financial statements and analysis for 6 locations nationwide in Tampa, FL as well as worldwide headquarters located in Europe.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

• Monthly accounting close, including preparing financial statements and review of variances
• Financial reporting for Senior Management and worldwide headquarters
• Bridge the gap between the business needs and the technical aspect of the ERP system
• Spearhead ERP upgrades and implementations for Finance Department
• Work closely with business partners to implement and integrate reporting systems and enhancements.
  • Develops best practices for report deployments.
  • Help design, document and maintain business and system processes
• Year-end audit responsibilities including working with external auditors to provide documentation and analysis
• Reconciliation Responsibilities including
  • Fixed Assets
  • Inventory Reconciliation
  • Physical Inventory Reconciliation
  • Other accruals and reserves
• Lead with federal and state agencies as it pertains to taxes and local reporting requirements.
  • Solid background and experience preferred
• Cash Management in coordination with the VP of Finance
• Strong Business Intelligence application skills
• Potential for Management of staff
• Various other financial analysis and reporting as required

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

• BS in Accounting
• 5+ years accounting experience
  • manufacturing environment preferred
• Report writing and ERP implementation experience
• Strong Excel skills required
  • Pivot tables / V-lookups / If statements/nested if
• Knowledge of Power BI from Microsoft helpful
