Full Job Description

CRH Catering located in Dunbar (near the fairgrounds) is looking for an Accounting Associate to add to our growing company’s accounting department. This position will perform a variety of accounting functions to support the accounting team.

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Perform accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.

· Email customer past due invoices and obtain invoices from vendors as needed.

· Post accounts receivable payments to customers’ accounts

· Code & enter accounts payable invoices

· Calculate sales use tax on Accounts Payable invoices for multiple states.

· Reconcile accounts, check statements and audit accounts for month end.

· Formatting and uploading product receipt data to create POs in accounting software.

· Assist with accounting projects and other assignments as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Associates degree or higher in accounting or related field.

· Minimum of 2 years accounting experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and general accounting experience required. Must have experience to be considered.

· Capable of working independently with minimal oversight.

· Skilled in the use of computer and software, including MS Excel, Word and Outlook

· Experience working with multiple divisions in different states.

• High level of personal accountability for accuracy, task prioritization and timely completion

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $24.00 per hour
