Job Description :
We are expanding our team and looking for an Accounting Generalist to assist with general accounting duties, with a focus on accounts receivable functions, reconciliations and customer service inquiries.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Invoicing
- EMS and Accounting system reconciliation
- Daily bank reconciliation
- Account reconciliation
- Credit card fee reconciliation
- Handling internal and external inquiries as assigned from CRM tool
- Support Accounting Manager with ad hoc tasks and projects
- Support all accounting functions
- Collaborate with Finance team regarding accounting entries and reconciliations
Educational and Skills Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2-4 years of related work experience
- 1-2 years customer service experience
- Accounting experience preferably with focus on accounts receivable
- Intermediate Excel experience required (build and use pivot tables, VLookup, IF and SUMIF functions)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, NetSuite
- Ability to collect and analyze information, problem solve, and make decisions
- Highly organized with the ability to work independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Forward thinking, curious, and creative
Travel Requirements:
- Travel is rarely required for this position. (0-1 trips per year)
- Travel will be entirely domestic
Type/Nature of Contacts:
- Internal: Key job contacts are primarily with managers outside of the job’s immediate work unit/department.
- External: This position has daily contact with individuals both inside and outside the company, including staff at all levels, members, and suppliers.
