We are looking for a smart, driven, and detailed-oriented professional to join our Accounting Team as an Accounting Specialist. This position will interface with departments across the business on accounting tasks such as billing, reconciliations, collections, and other basic tasks. In addition, one of the main focuses for this position is assisting with the process of the bi-monthly payroll for the company. This position requires a strong attention to detail, ability to manage time well, and interact professionally with employees, clients, and vendors.

Pay: $20-$22 / hour (depending on experience)

• Fundamental knowledge of accounting and 2 to 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping.
• Previous experience using a similar payroll system like Paylocity or ADP.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office with strong Microsoft Excel experience.
• Strong computer skills such as typing, system and software knowledge.
• Detail oriented, accurate, competent with calculations, dependable and efficient.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with employees regarding their issues and concerns.

Preferred qualifications

• Previous experience with financial systems like SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle.
