Job Description: The ALM Analyst will provide detailed balance sheet analysis for ORNL Federal Credit Union utilizing various systems, data extracts, and assumptions.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Prepares and performs detailed balance sheet analysis by utilizing various credit union systems. Analyses will be focused on supporting assumptions used within the credit union’s ALM model. The ALM model is reviewed quarterly by senior management, the executive committee, and regulators due to the importance of interest rate, concentration, and liquidity risks.
• Coordinate with Data Intelligence department to create quality control dashboards for balance sheet data and product setup. Communicates issues with appropriate management and ensures corrections are completed.
• Compiles and distributes reporting packages and presentations for management, including ALCO and Executive Committee packages and records accurate minutes for ALCO meetings.
• Ensures proper documentation and administers the rate change process for specific products within the organization.
• Prepares periodic financial analyses focused on the balance sheet and various competitor analyses.
• Provides back-up to cash management functions within the ALM department. Maintains knowledge and access to perform daily management of cash levels at correspondent banks and assists with branch and ATM/ITM cash orders.
• Responsible for the overall investment accounting process, including safekeeping and journal entries.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Experience: Three or more years of experience in a financial institution or in a finance/accounting role required. Data management experience preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
Other skills required:

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel.
• Must be proficient in Google Workspace with an emphasis on Google Forms and Sheets.
• Must possess organizational skills, be detailed oriented, and have the ability to meet deadlines
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
