Front Office Medical Coordinator

We are seeking a Full-time Front Office Medical Coordinator who enjoys being part of an incredible team and will be versatile to tackle many different administrative and patient responsibilities each day.
Responsibilities:
· Scheduling appointments, posting daily charges and payments, and checking patients in and out.
· Checking patients in by verifying demographics and insurance information.
· Collecting co-pays and patient balance at the time of check-in.
· Obtaining new patient/consult information to ensure the proper appointment in a timely manner.
· Answering incoming phone calls and direct calls to the appropriate staff member when necessary.
· Distribute incoming faxes and fax outgoing information as needed.
· Preparing and faxing all test orders for outpatient procedures with the appropriate diagnosis.
· Contacting patients to confirm appointments before their scheduled date/time.
· Calling to reschedule all no-show appointments if applicable.
· Additional administrative duties such as invoicing, filing, or similar.
· Initiating efficiencies and seeking out additional tasks to be handled.
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma (Required).
- Medical Front Office Experience (3 years preferred)
· Familiarity with all office equipment, computers, and internet literacy
· General knowledge of the functionality of Electronic Medical Records or Electronic Health Records for in-office use. _ Familiarity with Athena is preferred._
· Overall knowledge of medical terminology, including, but not limited to Current CPT Coding (ICD-10) and Diagnosis Coding.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Essential to provide exceptional customer service with professional phone etiquette.
· Excellent time management, organizational, and planning skills.
· Must be highly motivated, energetic, and self-driven as the position will be flexible and evolving.
· Candidates must be a self-starter and take initiative to address any tasks needed to ensure an efficient running environment.
· Punctual and self-disciplined.
You are eligible for Full-Time benefits after 90 days

Facilitates communication with the technical and reporting teams to ensure that business requirements are translated to design specifications and appropriate
Greeting guests as they enter and fulfilling there order. Candidate must be upbeat, friendly and quick on there feet. Daily and Weekly Cleaning of the cafe.
Provide mentorship and guidance to the technical team. Provide hands-on support for hardware and software design. Familiarity with FMEA and hazard analysis.
Work is performed in a classroom and/or lab environment on a college campus requiring outdoor driving to commute to campuses.
CPA or CMA certification preferred but not required. Drive implementation of new processes and technologies within accounting and across the company.
