Piedmont Protective Services is currently hiring an Armed SC Security Officer position in Lancaster, SC, for a gated community. The primary duties of the guard will be:

• Access control
• Stationary security work within a guard shack
• Maintaining a visitor log
• Assisting vendors and residents as needed
• Assisting client with security based needs
• Routine patrols of the property
• Providing safety
• Ensure the safety of life and property while on post
• Prepare written reports.
• Following specific post orders according for this site

Shifts:

• Sunday-Tuesday 6am-6pm
• Wednesday 6am-12pm

Total of 40 regular hours and 2 hours of overtime

Benefits and Pay Range:

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years or older for Armed Security
• Must successfully pass a background/criminal history check
• Must own a smartphone with active service plan
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Must possess strong customer service skills and the ability to handle stressful situations
• Ability to work alone and independently
• Ability to react to emergency scenarios according to training
• Ability to walk or stand for long period of times
