Immediate vacancy – reporting to the Plant Accounting Manager – within a rapidly growing, 350 employee manufacturing facility in Macon, Georgia - up to $78,000 starting salary, 7% annual bonus potential & $7,500 immediate signing bonus

While leading four accounting professional direct reports will assist with all accounting functions to include:

· Preparing monthly financial statements & balance sheets/income statements

· Directing the maintenance of general ledgers, accounts payables/ receivables, depreciation, operating expenses, bank accounts & fixed assets

· Maintaining accounting & inventory records

· Preparing various reports for compliance with federal, state & local regulations & assistance to external accounting firms & auditors

· Assisting with ERP system updates, internal/external audits & tax returns

· Preparing for & conducting month & year-end closing procedures & audits

Education & Experience Requirements

· Associate degree - Accounting, Finance or Business

· Related accounting experience in a manufacturing environment

· Supervisory skills

· Advanced skills in MS Office – particularly Excel

· Working knowledge of an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system - IFS a plus

Pay: $72,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
