Hiram College invites applicants for the position of Associate Registrar. This is a full-time, non-exempt staff position reporting to the Registrar.

The Registrar’s Office is responsible for the maintenance and integrity of Hiram College’s academic records. As such, the Registrar’s Office complies with all federal and state records regulations, including FERPA. The Associate Registrar will support the goal of maintaining the academic integrity of the College’s academic records as well as support goals related the overall policies and procedures of the Registrar’s Office. The Associate Registrar is a leadership position and supports student service initiatives through academic affairs.
Responsibilities
· Support Registrar’s Office and attend meetings in the Registrar’s absence
· Process readmission requests for students
· Create and maintain schedule of classrooms, exams, and academic events
· Process graduation in Banner and degree audits in Degree Works
· Complete graduation related processes diploma production in Parchment
· Communicate with faculty, staff and students related to academic degree completion requirements
· Assistance with commencement activities, maintaining senior lists, commencement program and assist during commencement activities
· Assist with new student orientation – registration related needs, placement scores, etc.
· Attend weekly and monthly meetings
· Maintain major and minor declarations in Banner
· Assign advisors in Banner
· Preform enrollment verifications
· Other duties as assigned
