AUTOMOTIVE SENIOR SERVICE ADVISOR

Toyota World of Lakewood, a state of the art, award winning Toyota dealer has an immediate opening for an EXPERIENCED TOYOTA Automotive Senior Service Advisor with a track record of great performance. You will be responsible for service, sales, gross profit, and for the proper handling of our service customers. Your customer service expertise and selling skills will influence the volume of service business and play a key role in insuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Advise customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications, using maintenance menus.
• Greet customer in a timely, friendly manner, let customers who are waiting in line know that they will be helped soon.
• Schedule appointments
• Communicate with service customers to determine the nature of the mechanical problem.
• Obtain customer and vehicle data
• If additional work is needed, explain the details to the customer, including the additional cost and time consideration.
• Handle telephone inquiries regarding work in process and appointments, and
• Follow-up on progress of each repair order during the day.
• Be responsible for quality control to ensure that work is completed as requested and to reduce comebacks.
• Interpret warranty information and policies to customers.
• Identify ROs that require special handling such as rush, customer waiting, special problem, comeback.
• Be up-to-date on technical and performance information.
• Keep Service & Parts Director informed of all problems and potential problems involving repairs, customers, & equipment.
• Refer leads and prospects for vehicle sales to the Sales Department.
• Attend additional service training

Requirements:

• MINIMUM 5 YEARS Service Advisor/Writer experience is required.
• Able to drive manual transmission
• High School Diploma or higher, Automotive training a plus
• Stable career with previous employers
• Knowledge of CDK/ADP a plus
• Must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks
