Staffing Inc. is partnered with a great Events Venue Company who is looking for great candidates to work as Banquet Bartender in Holland, MI. The Banquet Bartenders are responsible for serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to event guests. Characteristics of this position include being a team player, having an excellent attention to detail, the ability to maintain a positive attitude, being conversational and friendly with guests all while maintaining the highest level of professionalism to achieve the high standards of service and quality.

Banquet Bartender Responsibilities:

• Sets up bar and stocks alcohol, supplies, and garnishes based on the banquet event order
• Serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to event guests based on individual client requirements in accordance with event regulations
• Always provides high quality customer service and able to follow procedure when dealing with client requests
• Capable of monitoring event guests’ alcohol consumption and the ability to deal with problematic guests and when it is necessary to seek the support of management when needed
• Maintain tally of alcohol consumption for specified functions, as directed
• Process payment for cash bar events
• Verify identification and age requirements of customers
• Breaks down bar and stores supplies at end of the function
• Implements and maintains policies and procedures
• Works closely with the dish washer to assure glassware is frequently stocked
• Support banquet servers when bar service slows

Banquet Bartender Qualifications:

• Previous bartending experience preferred
• Availability that includes nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be 18 years old
• May at times have to lift fifty pounds
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk carrying items

HOURS & COMPENSATION

Banquet bartenders are paid hourly based on experience and occasionally receive additional gratuity

Hours are based on events scheduled and will vary from week to week. Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays are typically the busiest days of the week, so weekend availability is preferred
