Job Description :

The objective for this position is to welcome our participants with a friendly and polite demeanor while assisting them with tasks such as filling out necessary paperwork, and handling sensitive health information. The receptionist is the main contact for new clients as well as the person who has daily contact with existing clients. It is imperative that this individual possess impeccable customer service skills, is capable of maintaining a high level of confidentiality, is detail oriented, handles stressful situations well, and exudes a passion for helping others. T is responsible for direct communication with all existing and newly referred clients. Specific job duties are as follows:

For existing clients:

  • Over the phone or in person confirming appointments for existing clients.
  • Verifying existing demographic information (address, phone number, email and insurance information). If there are any changes, those changes should be made in the electronic health record immediately
  • Answer telephones and greet guests in a friendly, compassionate and courteous manner

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience in general office procedures and practice
  • Able to pay attention to detail and organize assigned work to produce accurate work products
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Pass a criminal history background check
  • Computer literate and able to meet deadlines'
