Eurowest Properties is currently seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join our finance team in a small office setting. The bookkeeper will share responsibility for financial processing and recordkeeping in accordance with GAAP, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger transactionsg.

Therefore, 2 or more years of experience bookkeeping, with an understanding basic accounting principles and Quickbooks Desktop (or other accounting software) is essential. An understanding of basic Excel formulas and formatting is preferred. Experience with movie cinemas, music venues, restaurants, commercial real estate, retail and property management, human resources, IT troubleshooting, sales tax preparation, and/or commercial insurance would also be advantageous.

Other shared office responsibilities include record retention, administrative assistance, ad hoc financial projects, and the general support of tenants, customers, vendors, coworkers, and leadership.

Self-motivation will be expected, and contributing to a positive work environment is essential to overall team productivity.

Qualified applicants must have excellent attention to detail, creative problem-solving prowess, strong communication and organization skills, integrity in matters of confidentiality, the ability to set priorities and manage time while working on multiple projects, and they must take pride in their work, striving for the highest quality results.

Pay rate will be dependent on qualifications and experience, with hours and scheduling negotiable for the right candidate.
