We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our WOW team and maintain our financial records. Including purchases, sales, receipts, payroll and payments. We have been remodeling homes in the area for over 30 years and are expanding our services into the Buffalo area.

This position includes working closely with our CPA to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments. Our ideal candidate would have extensive knowledge of QuickBooks. Ultimately, the Bookkeeper's responsibility is to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our company. Responsibilities

Record day to day financial transactions and complete the QB's posting.

Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct places, suppliers ledger, customer ledger, general ledger.

Enter data, maintain records and financial statements.

Process and manage A/P and A/R

Managing subcontractor insurance.

Skills

Proven bookkeeping experience + QuickBooks knowledge.

Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles

Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records

Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers and enjoy working with them

Hands-on experience with spreadsheets

Proficiency in MS Office, QuickBooks and Excel.

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Bachelors degree with experience with mid-sized construction companies
