Arkansas Business has an opening for an online and print business reporter to work with our team. Arkansas Business has been the state's signature weekly business magazine for 38 years, and we're looking for the right fit for our growing company.
The position is general assignment but includes beat coverage of technology, public companies and breaking news, but the position also contributes to other critical areas of coverage as well.
Experience covering publicly traded companies and reporting on quarterly earnings reports and other government filings of interest is a plus. Also a plus are social media skills.
The last time this role was available was more than six years ago. That gives you a little glimpse into why the award-winning and nationally-recognized Arkansas Business is considered a premier place to work.
A long tenure is common at Arkansas Business. Hiring and keeping exceptional team members is one reason Arkansas Business has hit record paid subscriber levels and record revenue levels in recent years.
Our content team's main function is to deliver original and distinctive content to business and political leaders in Arkansas that will help them lead more innovative and impactful organizations. This position contributes to print and digital content for Arkansas Business, and helps shepherd a collection of targeted e-newsletters. A full job description is available for review.
The position requires a creative individual with strong attention to detail and a passion for providing meaningful content to a premium audience. This position works closely with online and print editors and content team members.
There is a reason so many of our team members have been here for years — this is a great place to work (the kids' room, ice cream parties, company retreats and pet-friendly environment are just a few perks). We're looking for team members who like to work hard and have fun. Grumps should not apply.
We offer health, dental, vision, paid parental leave, flexible spending accounts and a significant 401(k) match. ABPG is one of the state's largest media companies with 25 magazines and a broad collection of respected digital products. The company also hosts premier events throughout the state and owns one of the leading digital marketing companies in the region. Knowledge of Google Docs, Google Sheets, InCopy and AP Style preferred.
