Eustasis is rapidly growing across the Midwest. We employ multiple physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, counselors and other mental health professionals and are needing someone with a strong medical/legal background to join our team as Chief Legal Officer: Medical.

This would include:

• Developing and leading corporate legal strategy to promote and protect the company’s affairs including compliance with all medical governing bodies.
• Developing and leading internal audit and corporate compliance programs that help reduce risks
• Overseeing the delivery of legal services and resources to accomplish corporate goals, strategies, and priorities; particularly pertaining to mental health and medical regulations
• Maintaining proper corporate interactions with the relevant local, state and federal governmental bodies, such as CMS, MMAC, DMH, DEA, BOHA, EEOC, DOL, etc.
• Advising the CEO and other senior corporate and medical officers on a variety of issues including implementation and operational strategies
• Participating in the formulation of general management policy as a member of the executive management team
• Managing a team and directly representing Eustasis with outside legal contractors
• dealing with contract negotiation, implementation, interpretation, and enforcement with health care providers and administration
• enforcing legal and compliance policies within the organization and externally
• ensuring NDA and other agreements with staff and vendors
• representing the company for any potential private or government insurance audits, reviews, and investigations
• on-site position; must be able to work in Springfield, MO and hold licensure for MO and preferably AR.
• work with outside counsel on other matters when necessary
• handling of mergers and acquisitions
• full time executive/legal position with Eustasis as the sole client.
• serving on board of directors if applicable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,578.02 - $245,588.32 per year
