Civil Engineer/Civil Designer
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES;

• Prepare land development plans, Grading and drainage plans, Stormwater mitigation plans, LID, Hydrology, hydraulics, mudflow study, Street Improvements plans, Temporary and permanent shoring plans, Retaining wall design and detailing.
• Assembling of engineering drawings and contract documents in collaboration with our CAD technologists and other members of the engineering team.
• Assisting more junior designers/drafters in the technical aspects of design and the practical aspects of assembling contract documents.
• Take a hands-on approach in providing technical expertise and guidance on various projects in order to ensure a high level of service, including development of structural concepts and methodology, value engineering, evaluation of structural systems, and quality review of structural production.
• Such other duties and responsibilities as Entuitive may assign to you from time to time.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• An engineering degree with a focus on civil and structural engineering, coupled with 5+ years of professional experience is required.
• Engineering In Training license is required.
• Engineering license with PE considered an asset.
• Knowledgeable in the appropriate building code.
• Strong project management capability with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and on budget.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to work with people at all levels including project stakeholders and clients.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships and assist with business development initiatives.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and deliverables on an ongoing basis.
• Must have a working knowledge and ability to use programs such as AutoCAD, CIVIL 3D, HEC-RAS, Retain PRO and structural analysis software (SAP2000, SAFE, etc.).

Requirements: Proficiency in AutoCAD, CIVIL 3D, HEC-RAS, Retain PRO and structural analysis software (SAP2000, SAFE, etc.).

Duties: Preparing Civil plans, calculation/report package, Ability to communicate effectively with clients, agencies, and contractors is required. Will be required to do site visits, plot plans, designs and drafting with little instruction.
