Primary role of the Clean Up Crew Member is cleaning of the plant production equipment and facility to meet food safety, customer quality and worker safety requirements. Ensure timely completion of all cleaning and housekeeping tasks while maintaining effective lines of communication with management and staff.

This position offers many opportunities to learn all aspects of ice cream production processes with room for advancement.

Schedule:

Seasonal

Hours: 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM - or until work is completed
Days: Tuesday thru Friday - off season
Sunday-Saturday - busy season (typically scheduled 3-4 days/wk)

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning, scrubbing, and sanitizing the production facility
• Wash tanks and lines, fillers and fruit feeder
• Clean batch tanks area, freezers, wrapper, and conveyors
• Support the production of safe, high quality products (SQF) and team member safety
• Perform tasks related to manufacturing of Ice Cream
• Participate in cross-training efforts to maximize departmental efficiency
• Additional tasks as outlined in the complete job description

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Attention to detail, quality, and cleanliness
• Self-motivated and Dependable
• Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced team environment
