CNC Programmer

Clark Industries, Inc. is seeking a CNC Programmer. We are a machine shop that was established in 1967 at our current location.

This position requires a person who can multi-task and work in a fast paced environment. This person must be dependable, have a good work ethic, be able to maintain a positive temperament, and project a ‘can do’ attitude at all times. The right candidate would be someone that is a self-starter with excellent communication skills. Must be team oriented to help us grow and improve.

They will possess these qualities:

• Primary duty is to create CNC Programs using BobCAD/ CAM software for Milling & Turning centers with up to 3 axis of motion in the most cost effective manner. To this end the candidate must be able to analyze job orders, drawings, blueprints, specifications and design data to determine setup procedures, tool selection, control settings, machining methods and sequences, as well as machine speeds and feed rates. They must also be able to adjust existing programs to accommodate product revisions and production changes.
• Will need to understand and have the ability to design, fabricate, and/or modify Holding Fixtures.
• Must be able to perform First Article Inspections that will confirm that fabricated parts meet the engineering specifications using drawings and measuring equipment as necessary.
• Good communication skills are a must. Ability to listen and understand the requirements to complete projects and ask for clarification when needed to complete tasks given. This position will work with the Machine Shop Supervisor, Manufacturing Tech and the machinists to insure an understanding of the requirements to complete each job in as efficient and cost effective manner as possible.
• Additionally this person will oversee the inventory management of tooling with supervisors to insure that tooling is being used properly and not being abused. Ordering replacement tooling when necessary and making sure that tooling is being used and maintained properly.
