Job Description :

The Controller at Parsons Company is responsible for all financial management including: analysis, reporting, company audits, costing, compliance and cash management. This role will collaborate with the owner and executive team to make decisions regarding the company's financial strategy and operations. The current Controller is retiring after 17 years and will stay on for a limited amount of time to cross-train as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Timely and accurate preparation of financial results
  • Administer and implement financial control processes and improvements
  • Oversee cash flow, cash management, working capital, and company audits
  • Prepare financial statements and reports
  • Ensure legal compliance on all financial functions
  • Manage 401K/Profit Sharing Plan
  • Oversee Human Resources and related company policies
  • Manage all company insurance policies
  • Drive profit maximization and cost controls

Qualifications

  • Strong finance-based analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • 7 - 10 years' of financial experience
  • CPA preferred but not required
  • Epicor Manufacturing Software experience a plus but not required
