Position Description: Create and lead the visual identity and voice of the brand, overseeing brand development, supporting content development, visual presentation of products and experiences, and managing a team of creatives.

Where you come in

We are looking for an experienced Creative Director to provide our creative team with guidance and ideas to launch new impressive projects. You will devise the concepts and strategies for a particular venture and will monitor its progress. You will be able to implement your creative vision and become the point of reference for any creative plan that wants to make its way to the customers. The goal is to achieve the best possible outcome of our brand launches both visually and essentially to meet customer and leadership expectations and drive our sustainable growth. Furthermore, we will have you be responsible for owning our branding: the process of defining and documenting brand standards, including visual identity (logo, color palette, marks) and messaging (mission, values, tagline) in the form of comprehensive brand guidelines. These elements work together to create a consistent and cohesive experience for a brand's target audience.

Ideal Candidates Must

  • Brand builder– Can take ideas, stories and products and turn them into brands that will last generations; building for consistency, quality and prestige.
  • Creative Catalyst – You are the catalyst of creativity for our company. You will drive strategic vision-building and planning with their team, which often includes other key stakeholders to help create ads for clients' businesses or brands. They work directly with stakeholders to determine marketing strategies, and they work with Project Managers to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Creative Visionary– Able to take products and concepts and turn them into extraordinary visual experiences. Understands how to connect products and experiences to advertisements, campaigns and assets.
  • Storytelling—A good storyteller will capture the imagination of their audience and leave them with something that can resonate with the audience long after the story is over. The creative director must be able to see the throughlines
  • Self-Starter—A successful BHAKTA employee must have an entrepreneurial and enterprise mindset, having a sense of ownership of what they develop and deliver.
  • Empathetic & Customer Obsessed—Must possess the ability to capture the emotions and desires of our target customers and visitors through imagery and copy.
  • Trustworthy—Core principle of the BHAKTA Spirits team. Freely exchange ideas and thoughts without ego or pretense. Receptive and open to direction. Respects deadlines and commitments.
  • Organized & proficient in Microsoft Office Products for organization and content distribution.

Responsibilities

We are a startup company, so responsibilities will flex to the needs of the business. Our current needs are as follows:

  • Work with marketing, sales and brand director to establish clear Branding for our New Product Introductions (NPIs) to the market
  • Conceive and implement concepts, guidelines and strategies in various creative projects and oversee them to completion
  • Direct and motivate a team of art directors, illustrators, photographers, designers, copywriters etc. to help them use their talents effectively
  • Lead brainstorming/creative sessions to generate ideas; extract ideas from the creative minds of our leaders and brand builders and turn into plans and strategy
  • Revise content and presentations, approve/reject ideas, provide feedback to the team
  • Manage creative contractors to execute plan and strategy for launching new products and new campaigns
  • Design and guide the implementation of various brand websites
  • Development product labels and packaging concepts and see through production
  • Manage print material strategies for sales, marketing and events

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a creative director or in a similar creative role
  • Hands-on experience in creative process, marketing, graphic design and brand development
  • Excellent working knowledge of software such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.
  • Outstanding leadership and organization skills
  • Exemplary interpersonal and analytical abilities
  • Understanding and passion for luxury spirits is a plus.
  • Understanding and passion for luxury brands is a plus.
  • Graphic Design 7+ years preferred in Figma and Adobe CC
  • Label and product design

Pay: $55,751.66 - $193,599.23 per year
