Customer Service Specialist

Position Summary

The roll of the Customer Service Specialist is to direct customers to their desired department for the entire dealership. This includes but is not limited to sales related questions, setting service appointments and general customer service inquiries. This position is THE face of the dealership, so greeting customers with a big smile and outward enthusiasm is a must. We are looking for a person that truly enjoys meeting new people, and is dedicated to true world class customer service. This position will also be fill in for filing, errands for the dealership, and making sure supplies are stocked and available. At times the customer service specialist may be asked to help with administrative duties

Primary Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a professional and cheerful manner
• Direct customers to parts, service, or sales as needed
• Provide each customer with the best service possible
• Make follow up calls to customers as needed
• Effectively use all computer systems and programs
• Perform concierge services for customers as needed (finding shuttle services, helping with rentals, coffee, etc)
• Help with office paperwork and filing as directed by office manager.
• Maintain the appearance of the lobby and waiting areas
• Keep coffee and beverage area clean and stocked

Supervision Received

Direct supervision is received from General Manager

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Outstanding telephone skills
• Firm knowledge of customer service functions
• Strong typing, filing and other basic office skills
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to work cooperatively with other company staff, and handle customers in a courteous and efficient manner, regardless of customer temperament

Physical Environment

The Front Desk Receptionist will have to spend long hours sitting, using computers, and, various office equipment. The Front Desk Receptionist will also have to do some light lifting of supplies and materials from time to time.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
