The Desktop Technician will be responsible for providing local and remote support for the firm, our information technology clients and field support, as needed. This position will have a strong focus in customer service and supporting end users in day-to-day technical needs. The Desktop Technician is a customer facing role, and as such positive and proficient communication skills are an important qualification.

Responsibilities and Duties Technical:

• Provide first response technical support for end user, connectivity, and services issues
• Identify potential issues affecting multiple users and escalate to appropriate resources
• Troubleshooting of Workstations, Software, Printers, basic network connectivity, and basic domain services
• Collaborate internally with team to identify, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

Field Support:

• Installation of Hardware on site as needed
• On site project implementation support as needed

Microsoft Windows Desktop 10/11

Microsoft 365

Hyper-V Technology

Windows Server 2016/2019

WebRoot Endpoint Protection

Troubleshooting Windows Systems

Basic Qualifications:

Associates, or equivalent field experience

1-3 years of technical support experience

Preferred Qualification:

A+, Microsoft or other professional certifications

Previous MSP experience

Strong knowledge of IT infastructure, network & directory services required

Excellent written & oral communication skills

Ability to collaborate & coordinate between technical & non-technical people
