Your role at BHSN:
The Data Analyst serves as a technical data expert for the organization in report querying, data view build, and report generation. Key responsibilities include the facilitation, coordination and support of data retrieval and analysis tasks in support of operational programs and initiatives. This position within the MIS Department will also be devoted to developing, supporting and optimizing the agency's Electronic Medical Record system, Netsmart myAvatar as well as supporting agency programs and management by utilizing data to make informed business decisions to drive the organization forward.

What your day might look like:
Manage, gather and document business data reports based on program requirements and known system functionality- Manage the creation of new forms and processes within Netsmart Avatar, BHSN’s electronic health record (EHR)
- Be the subject matter expert for the KPI module within the EHR; establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions
- Work with programs/departments to drive individualized business objectives to future-proof BHSN; create reports for internal teams and/or external clients
- Manage the development of continuous process improvement opportunities and efficiencies
- Manage the development of documentation for best practices in methodology
- Perform testing as necessary; ensuring proper configuration management and change control processes
- Manage training, coaching, guiding, and mentoring Netsmart Avatar users across the organization
- Identify, resolve and report solution status and analyze data to determine configuration readiness
- Aggregate data across multiple systems to create reports, dashboards, etc. to be used to make informed business decisions
- Streamline grant reporting functionalities and generate data reports when seeking new grants
- Work with executives and other business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data; use graphs, infographics and other methods to visualize data
- Structure large data sets to find usable information
- Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings
Your skills and qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Analytics or Statistics- Computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite or other applications)
- Strong analytical, verbal and technical written communication skills and comfortable presenting to audiences
- Ability to take initiative and manage multiple detailed tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment; excellent attention to detail
- Healthcare work experience required
- Experience with Crystal Report writing
- User experience or familiarity with Netsmart myAvatar a plus
