The Data and Systems Support Specialist is a key member of the Customer Service & Transportation (CS&T) Strategic Initiatives team, providing support to the NAOU Supply Chain CS&T organization by serving as a product owner and subject matter expert for our business-critical systems and data tools

What You’ll Do for Us

  • Support and maintain business-critical systems and data tools including SAP, Salesforce, OTM, MS Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Power BI, Power Automate and Power Apps.

  • Proactively learn technical details of system-driven processes, and share that knowledge with business users, technology project teams and other stakeholders.

  • Serve as a system subject matter expert for our department and stakeholders, acting as a liaison between business users and IT/technical teams to answer questions, submit help tickets, and escalate as needed to drive solutions.

  • Work with business users to evaluate and improve technical solutions in response to new ideas and changing business needs.

  • Partner with business analysts and other subject matter experts to define system and data policies, measure data integrity within business systems, and identify ways to improve overall system health.

  • Lead and participate in the development of technologies and digitization initiatives for the Supply Chain CS&T organization.

  • Support the CS&T Strategic Initiatives team in the implementation of strategic projects, financial analysis and process improvements.

  • Support optimization of CS&T data and reporting, visualizations and automation.

  • Strategically align with stakeholder partners to ensure compliance to business requirements and system best practices.

  • Provide coaching and guidance to other team members and support the Strategic Initiatives team on process improvements by acting as a subject matter expert on data policies, processes, and systems.

  • As tools are deployed, build and refine knowledge of the business to help the CS&T function move faster going forward.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working in technology-focused roles

  • 4+ years experience with SAP, Salesforce and/or OTM

  • Bachelors degree in finance, engineering, business, or supply chain, advanced degree preferred

  • Project management experience in digitization initiatives a plus

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment and collaborate with different individuals and organizations to reach common goals
