Job Description :

The Digital Marketing and Communications Manager will be responsible for effectively promoting The Center Club brand, events, and event facilities to current and prospective members through social media and marketing campaigns directed towards increasing brand awareness and promoting membership and event growth.
Responsibilities will include:
Marketing

  • Marketing of events, membership, including member benefits, and event facilities.
  • Conduct research to analyze competitive landscape, market trends and member/prospective member behavior and preparing reports by collecting, summarizing and analyzing data.
  • Support the Membership & Marketing Director in establishing and evaluating a marketing strategy and plan by analyzing and assembling forecasts, updating calendars and organizing and planning promotional presentations.
  • Create the proper cadence for all marketing pieces being sent out for campaigns, keeping the number of registrants in mind for each event.
  • Maintain an inventory of marketing materials making sure all resources are accurate and current while coordinating new material creation as needed.
  • Develop, implement, and manage The Center Club email marketing strategy.
  • Develop, design and curate engaging content for emails.
  • Work with Membership and Marketing Director to determine two months of marketing at a time.
  • Create and develop emails to include important information, not only event promotion.

Social Media

  • Develop, implement, and manage The Center Club social media strategy.
  • Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms (text, image and video content)
  • Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around Club events and membership.
  • Attend events and produce content for future use, including Uncorked, and live social media content.
  • Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels.
  • Manage and oversee social media content on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
  • Develop and implement an optimal posting schedule taking into consideration metrics and customer engagement.
  • Suggest and research new ways to attract or engage members including promotions contests or other methods.
  • Keep abreast of the latest social media best practices and technologies.
  • Track the performance of campaigns.

Website Maintenance

  • Provide basic level update to web pages including replacing text, files, photos, etc.
  • Review the website regularly with a critical eye; make suggestions to existing pages, design, and navigation.
  • Coordinate with outside web developer for more complex updates.

Qualified Candidates will possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience with developing effective social media and email marketing campaigns.
  • Experience with photography and videography preferred.
  • Professional written and oral communication skills.
  • Web design and development knowledge and skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe.
  • Experience with social media monitoring and analytic tools.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.
  • The ability to work evenings and weekend events.
  • Experience developing and executing unique messaging for campaigns.
  • A good eye for visualization, layout, and/or graphic design skills to facilitate appealing and effective communication.
  • Creativity and resourcefulness, with the ability to execute creative ideas effectively.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to balance competing priorities.
