Job Description: Director of Finance & Accounting

Overview:
The Director of Accounting & Finance will provide consolidated financial reports and various other analysis to leadership team and external financial partners.
The ideal candidate will be enjoy being involved in all aspects of the organization, partnering directly with other leaders daily to make informed management decisions.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate financial statements are published timely and results are communicated to the team
- Prepare and present monthly consolidated reporting package, including forecast and commentary where appropriate
- Lead the department and oversee all activities relating to cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable and vendor management
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis development and reporting
- Ensure seamless completion of annual audit and tax filings
- Design and oversee execution of procedures and processes for all facets of the accounting cycle; ensure appropriate internal controls are in place
- Adhere to confidentiality standards and operate within a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with consolidated financial reporting
- History of effective team management and leadership
- Advanced experience with MS Excel and general knowledge of other MS Office Programs
- Advanced experience with QuickBooks Online (preferred)
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment; effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds

Compensation:
- $95,000 to $125,000 per year depending on experience
