Location: Headquarters (Woodbridge, VA) or Virtual

Schedule: Schedule to be determined to meet department needs. Occasional evenings and weekends may be required.

Delta Consulting Group (Delta), a leading consulting firm focused on dispute resolution, project advisory, and risk mitigation, based in Woodbridge, VA, has an immediate opening for an experienced Director of Marketing. This is a new position due to company expansion supporting the marketing needs of the firm worldwide! The Director of Marketing is a key management position responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and execution of Delta’s marketing strategy. This position requires a combination of creative, strategic, and analytical skills to identify opportunities for growth and develop effective marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth.

The successful candidate will act as a catalyst for change and be expected to foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the marketing team. The Director of Marketing will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of success in developing and executing marketing plans that fuels firmwide growth.

Responsibilities

· Build, lead, and mentor a team of marketing professionals focused on brand development, business development, corporate development, and employer brand development

· In concert with Delta’s growth objectives, develop and lead the implementation of the brand vision and efficient marketing strategies for Delta, which includes setting clear goals, objectives, and performance KPIs

· Establish clear guidelines for brand identity and ensure brand consistency companywide; develop, refine, and ensure frameworks, processes, and policies related to brand are adhered to

· Partner with members of the executive leadership team to execute on Delta’s marketing and strategic growth objectives

· Assist with the preparation of the annual marketing budget and collaborate with leadership to develop and implement ‘real time’ forecasting.

· Oversee the creation of compelling marketing materials, including digital and print advertising, email campaigns, social media content, and other promotional materials

· Lead the successful implementation and proper use of critical marketing technologies including content management, CRM/SFA, email marketing, event management, campaign performance, social media management, and website/online optimization tools

· Identify target audiences and develop effective messaging and positioning to reach them

· Work with senior leadership and Marketing Team to recommend, administer, and execute key industry events to promote Delta’s brand and value proposition based on business goals/objectives. Events include seminars, conferences, trade shows, webinars, sporting and dinner events, among others.

· Develop and maintain relationships with media partners, influencers, and other external stakeholders to amplify the organization's message

· Collaborate with the Marketing Team members to enhance and expand marketing communications, lead generation, marketing materials, digital media, and revenue pipeline, adjusting as needed to create predictable and sustained growth

· Centralize proposal production, oversee and enhance proposals and engagement letters

· Oversee efforts and collaborate with the team to ensure Delta’s billers have the tools and support needed to successfully implement marketing and business development efforts including objectives and tasks included in individual growth plans.

· Monitor the impact and return on investment of all marketing campaigns to make effective data-driven decisions and succinctly report performance to the executive leadership team and other key stakeholders monthly

· Remain on the forefront of the latest market trends, marketing best practices and technologies

· Other duties as assigned

· Thorough understanding of principles and methods used to promote, display, and market professional services over digital and nondigital channels

· Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve goals

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present and articulate complex ideas and strategies to colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of the organization, prospects, and clients

· Excellent writing and editing skills with an ability edit/proofread marketing deliverables to ensure accuracy, consistency, and readability

· Ability to facilitate discussions, resolve conflicts, and establish business-oriented processes

· Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive decision-making

· Demonstrated experience managing budgets and allocating resources effectively

· Flexible, highly organized, strong attention to detail, open to feedback with excellent client service and follow-through skills

· Ability to learn quickly, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a positive outlook

· Ability to organize and carry out a wide variety of tasks in a timely fashion and know when to consult with management about setting priorities

· Proficiency using content management systems (e.g., WordPress), search engine optimization (SEO) strategies, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere, etc.)

· Advanced experience with web analytics tools like Google Analytics, site performance enhancers like Google Search Console, and social media management tools like SproutSocial

Education/Certifications/Experience

· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Business, or related field; advanced degree (MS, MA, MBA, or other relevant graduate degree) highly desirable

· Minimum of 10+ years relevant experience in professional services (i.e., accounting, law, IT, A/E) marketing with evidence of exceptional performance executing marketing strategies within high growth firms

· Minimum of 5 - 7 years in a management role, designing and implementing growth-oriented programs
