Position Details:

Monday - Friday, exempt

Education, Qualifications, and Credentials

A bachelor’s degree in social work or a bachelor’s degree in a human services field including but not limited to sociology, special education, rehabilitation counseling, and psychology; and 3 years of social work experience in a health care setting working directly with individuals, and 1 year experience of supervisory experience in a health care setting


The Director of Social Work assumes authority, responsibility, and accountability for the delivery of medical related social services in the facility. Collaborates and coordinates in an efficient and economic sound process with the interdisciplinary team. The social work department maintains the responsibility of the advocate for the residents within the facility that ensures their rights are upheld and the residents attain and maintain their highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning through an interdisciplinary collaboration of care.
