The Dock Doctors, a leader in waterfront construction and manufacturing, is seeking a reliable, self-motivated individual with a valid driver’s license and a desire to work in or around the water. We are a diverse company offering products and services for both residential and commercial waterfront projects throughout the entire New York State & Vermont. Our diverse job sites are often physically demanding; project examples include installation and/or seasonal removal of docks, boat lifts and stair systems along with installation of permanent pile docks, seawalls, boathouses and much more.

This position includes servicing of dock systems, working within a 3-5 person team and learning the aspects of waterfront construction within our region. Out of town travel and weekends are minimal; depending on experience and interest this position offers full-time, part-time and seasonal opportunities with future advancement into leadership roles. Responsibilities

· Taking direction from crew leaders and supervisors to perform laboring activities

. Maintain clean and organized job sites and equipment

· Perform physical tasks in the water

. Adhere to Company Safety procedures and policies

Requirements/Qualifications:

· Good mechanical aptitude for product assembly and installation

· Basic hand tool knowledge (tape measure, level, ratchet wrench, etc.)

. Ability to work at a steady pace on uneven and loose surfaces in an outside environment

. Ability to lift and carry 100 lbs occasionally

. Ability to lift and carry 75 lbs consistently

· Responsible and reliable

· Valid driver’s license

· Self-motivated & positive personality
