Engineer Position

Bee Cave Drilling is a family owned and operated water well drilling company with offices on the west side of the Austin metro area (Dripping Springs and Burnet). We construct and service water well systems for residential, commercial, irrigation, and public water supply (PWS) applications and have seen exceptional growth over the past few years. We are looking to expand our services by offering engineering services for PWS systems in addition to their construction and maintenance. This is a new position.

Experience with drilling, groundwater hydraulics, and pump hydraulics is preferred, but we can train. PE license is required. Duties will include:

*Meeting with clients and gathering information on their water needs.

*Researching local groundwater formations to inform the water well design.

*Designing a water well and pumping system that meets customer needs and TCEQ standards, and developing a cost estimate for it.

*Negotiating contracts and change orders, and obtaining payment for services.

*Assisting customer with TCEQ and local groundwater district permitting.

*Overseeing installation of the system.

*May handle large commercial irrigation or other projects as workload allows.

*Some aspects of project management may be shared with a project manager if engineering workload necessitates.

Job Type: Full Time

Pay: $60,000 + Commission ($75,000-$125,000 expected range)

• Bachelor's (Required)
• PE (Required)
• Water Well/Pump Installer License (Preferred but not expected)

• Work from home as needed
• Job site visits will be required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
