We are seeking Engineering Interns to join our Lakewood, CO team!

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• This position includes materials testing to determine the physical properties of highway construction materials, including:
• Aggregate and Asphalt Mixtures.
• Construction Materials Technicians will travel to construction sites and perform testing for producers, contractors, developers and/or owners for the materials they are using in their construction.
• Many of our projects are large highway paving or construction projects at remote locations which require the technician to stay out of town for the duration of the project, normally 4 to 8 weeks, returning each weekend.

Minimum Requirements:

• A science background is preferred, or as a minimum good math skill.

Technical Requirements:

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word will be helpful.
• LabCAT is a plus, but training and certification enrollment provided

Other miscellaneous qualities:

• Travel – 80%

Compensation:

$18 - $20 Hourly

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state’s law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
