SUMMARY

Starting Pay: $20- $25

Use SolidWorks to refine dimensions and relationships of parts and structures based on production feedback.

Use creativity to improve production manufacturing efficiencies by refining internally manufactured and purchased parts.

Company is growing and modernizing with new software and machinery. Product is best-in-class in world.

Work environment is casual, though fast paced.

JOB DUTIES:

• Direct communication with production managers and line workers
• Generate Bill of Materials (BOMs) for assemblies
• Maintain CNC files based on changes to assemblies or ease of manufacturing
• Full-time Monday through Friday though hours are negotiable.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Proficiency in SolidWorks (knowledge of Weldments and Design Tables helpful)
• Experience with 3D CAD programs (like Autodesk Inventor, Creo, Parametric/Pro-E)
• AS Degree or Cert in Design Tech or Engineering preferred
• Knowledge of LEAN principles helpful
• Experience with CNC routers and design tables helpful
• Experience in production environment preferred
• Attention to detail when preparing drawings
• Ability to problem-solve
• Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Microsoft MS Office, including Excel
• Manage multiple drafting assignments
• Work efficiently with production departments
• Basic understanding of engineering principles

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
