Our company offers design-build services with a designer focus on high-end residential projects in the greater Austin area.

We’re looking for an entry-level landscape designer to assist our design and estimation team on their projects. This is a local position so you would be expected to live in the Austin area and must have your own method of transportation. This individual would learn materials and pricing needed through our estimation team, and the comprehensive design skills needed through our experienced design team.

While this is an “entry-level” position, our goal is to teach you everything needed in order for you to graduate into taking projects and clients of your own. As a company, we think of ourselves as “design-forward,” meaning that you are not expected to complete construction documents and are able to see more of your projects come to life with quicker turnaround times than traditional landscape architecture firms.

Must have a design portfolio to apply

Education/Skills required:

• Ability to effectively communicate with clients
• Sketchup knowledge and experience preferred
• Lumion or 3d rendering software experience preferred
• Local plant knowledge preferred
• Support lead designers with client meetings, design, 3d modeling, and putting together estimates for our estimation team to complete; shadow on-site meetings with project managers and construction foreman
• Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from an accredited program is preferred but not required
• Background in design is strongly preferred (landscape design, architecture, graphic design/rendering, horticulture, etc.)

Compensation Package:

• $48-55k salary range for this entry-level position with room for growth as you advance
