Overview:
Under supervision, performs day-to-day operations, as well as maintenance, problem diagnosis, and repairs to building and office facilities, machinery and equipment. Equipment includes fuel systems, gas detection systems, air conditioners and heaters (HVACs/Boilers), compressors, etc. are operational and fully compliant with all health and safety policies, practices, and regulatory requirements are met.
The salary for this position is:
$24.25 - Starting Rate per hour
25.81 - After completion of six (6) months
33.63 - Top rate after thirty six (36) months

Qualifications
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to one year of full-time training or education in Industrial Technology, Electrical Maintenance, or similar program at a recognized trade school or apprenticeship and three years related experience performing mechanical and electrical facilities construction and/or maintenance work on mechanical equipment in an industrial facility environment, i.e., installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. Prefer HVAC, electrical, or alternative fuel systems experience. Prefer Electrical Safety Worker and/or HAZWOPR certification designation(s).
Special Qualifications:
Must possess valid California Driver License with a good driving record.
Must utilize OSHA-required and/or Agency mandated personal protective equipment when needed.
