Job Description :

Highly motivated Field Engineers to join our team in Tampa, Miami and Orlando, Florida to help at our newest project.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Receive, review, forward and track status of submittals
  • Assist in management of project permit process
  • Assist is preparation of bid packages and procurement
  • Receive and review change orders
  • Assist more senior civil engineers with entry level engineering tasks
  • Assist with performing onsite construction administration and construction observation
  • Services including reporting/monitoring contractor's compliance with contract documents
  • Evaluates change order requests including design changes, specifications and drawing releases and reports status.
  • Evaluates submittals of shop drawings, material data and samples and takes appropriate · action based upon contract specifications.
  • Completes project close out requirements in accordance with contract documents.
  • Coordinates meeting agendas, prepares minutes and follows up on action items
  • Maintains effective and professional relationships with owners, architects, engineers and contractors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering preferred. · Excellent computer skills and analytical ability: experience working with Primavera P6, AutoCAD
  • Understanding of industrial construction process
  • Experience in civil infrastructure to include: Tunneling, DOT projects, pipeline, water treatment, marine, etc. ·
  • Must have ability to interpret contract specifications and drawings
  • Knowledge of contract procedures and principles
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
