Rhea County, Tennessee is seeking Finance Director

Seeking someone with a positive attitude, motivation, and background in management of office staff.

Be knowledgeable in payroll, HR, accounts payable, and budgeting. Experience working with Local

Government Software is a plus. This position will require working with all county department heads, school system, and county commissioners.

Qualifications: Must have a minimum of bachelor of science degree, with a minimum of 18 quarter hours in accounting: however, the committee may select a person who does not have the foregoing qualifications if the person has at least two years of acceptable experience in a related position or an equivalent number of related courses.

Compensation of the director shall be established by the committee, subject to the approval of the county legislative body.
