Financial Planner

We are looking for a new addition to our practice. We are looking for someone who has a strong desire to contribute to our dynamic and growing team. Someone who has excellent problem-solving skills, who can conceptualize and grasp financial planning concepts and how they are implemented. This position requires someone that can learn quickly, communicate and work effectively in a fast paced, detail and dead-line oriented environment.

This position involves working closely with clients and staff members to ensure we deliver high-quality experience and deliverables.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare financial plans and client ready presentations for the senior advisor. To include gathering additional client information when needed.
• Meet with senior advisor to help understand the client’s goals for case analysis.
• Prepare investment proposals and insurance illustrations.
• Enter and maintain accurate details within CRM software.
• Keep abreast of product changes and maintain marketing materials related to products in both digital PDF’s and hardcopy form.
• Provide backup for team members, including answering phones and other basic office tasks, as needed.

Position Qualifications:

• 5-10 years financial investment industry experience is extremely important.
• Prior experience working in financial planning on cash flow, income analysis and product implementation.
• Ability to understand why and how certain products fit into a financial plan.
• Working knowledge of various financial account registrations, such as IRA, 401(k), Roth IRA, pensions, and taxation concepts related to each registration.
• Ability to work independently, as well as within a team environment.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Series 7 and 66 securities licenses preferred, or willingness to obtain them within 9 months, studying outside of work hours.
• Life, Health, and Accident Insurance license preferred, or willingness to obtain within 3 months, studying outside of work hours.
• Excellent MS Office skills (especially Excel and Word), OneDrive, Teams, Acrobat Adobe Pro and Industry specific: Morningstar, Advisor 360, Wealthscape and Envestnet are a plus.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
