Project Manager – Construction/Heavy Highway

Status: Full-time, salaried position

Summary: Nathan Contracting is a full-service restoration contractor specializing in the repair and preservation of concrete structures. Responsibilities:

· Maintain project progress and quantities, i.e. as-built drawing and tracking quantities

· Coordinate with contracted services

· Handle material qualification submission/submittal packages prior to the start of jobs

· Prepare invoices, drafting contracts, and project submittals

· Fill, submit, and obtain permitting for project needs

· Find job pricing specifics and estimation

· Visit project sites to assess progress

· Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure all necessary materials and logistics for projects are attended

· Scan and archive documentation as needed for project records

· Research and acquire new project opportunities utilizing company lead services

· Create, track and adhere to project timelines and calendar

· Schedule meetings, phone calls, and site visits

· Maintain positive vendor and client relationships

· Assist in ensuring compliance with necessary plans and specifications as well as maintaining job site safety standards

Qualifications:

· Four-year bachelor degree or equivalent experience in construction management

· Construction and onsite experience are preferred

· Must have valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to drive within the tristate area.

· 20-30% regional travel is a possibility and some overnight travel may be periodically required

· Strong willingness to learn

· Ability to work unsupervised and “find the next task to be accomplished”

· Exceptional time management

· Ability to take directions

· Developed communication skills

· Software requirements:

· Proficient with Microsoft Suite.

Familiarity/experience with the following is a plus:

· AutoCAD or equivalent

· Estimating and take off software

· Project management and tracking software

· Shared/collaborative software and interfaces

· Competitive salary

· Mileage compensation for travel

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,492.27 - $128,536.08 per year
